About Us

 Opia is an independent Byron Bay–based clothing label producing simple, delicate pieces for everyday wear, inspired by a love of nature and sustainability. 

Born from a dream to create a soft, feminine wardrobe, our collections embrace minimalism and simplicity, timeless pieces that remain unaffected by fleeting trends. We use textured, natural fabrics, we create clothing that feels effortless, timeless, and flattering for women all shapes and sizes.

While all designs are still created locally by the founder, we now work with two small family-run production houses in Indonesia. Garments are produced in limited runs, with fair wages and a clean, light-filled workspace — a collaboration we are grateful for.

As a small business, we prioritise ethical and sustainable practices wherever possible. We use natural fibres, compostable packaging, and donate offcuts and excess materials to the local community, where they are created into wares which are repurposed and sold at local markets.
